Beatriz Vaca is a self taught musician and artist based in Madrid, Spain.

As well as being a member of dream-pop outfit Kipell and  playing as part of La Petite Mort, Beatriz experiments with her own loop based solo work.

The Modular Explanation was her second solo album and the very first release on Sonic Reverie, it's liberal approach to mashing together different genres and it' focus on texture and emotion is something which we have strived to find in all of our subsequent releases.

Narcoleptica's music invokes the sounds of several generations of the pioneers of alternative music, from Cocteau Twins to Portishead or Squarepusher whilst still managing to imbue it with her own unique and inimitable style.
